Description

EDIT 2017: This is a tilting water cooler "won by Elmer A. Napier at rifle school in Jamaica." Silver plated coffee urn of concave conical shape etched decorated, having spout and fitted with hinged lid and scrolled handle, set in stand to swing on arched scroll decorated frame (b); the stamp on base, "Elmer A. Napier"; the (paper tag in object file indicates "Coffee Urn Presented by his mother In memory of Mr. Frank Hale"; one pin on side of urn is detached as of this May 2010 examination caused by weakness from deterioration of soldered area at pin base EDIT 2017: this paper tag belongs to a different coffee urn. This is not a coffee urn and the old records book shows this was donated by Miss Sara Napier in 1954)
