Scope and Content

In 1968, Robert Ernst published the book "Rufus King: American Federalist" (University of North Carolina Press). A collection of his research notes and manuscripts were donated to the King Manor Museum. This Series is composed of multiple manuscript pages for the book "Rufus King: American Federalist." Pages have been maintained in their original order at time of donation from the author's wife. Manuscript pages contain notes written by Ernst.
