King to Stephen Van Rensslaer, Esq, dated Dec. 24th, 1844, New York 28 Barclay Street, describing meeting of several land owners from Scho-, Delaware, Otsegi, Ulster, Greene, Sullivan and Columbia counties, New York, and the insurrectionary actions committed there, and a memorial drafted by the group asking the governor for assistance.
