Letter from John A. King to Stephen Van Renssdell (?) Esq., in Albany, dated December 24, 1844, written from 28 Barclay Street, New York.
Contents relate meeting, held at City Hotel, of "about twenty gentlemen" owning land in Schoharie, Delaware, Otsego, Ulster, Greene, Sullivan and Columbia counties, and their difficulties in collecting rents and other fees owed them by lessors and tenants.
