Description

Painting: Oil on wood panel of scenic landscape. Tall tree, broken trunk and smaller tree dominate foreground. There are two figures seated by the fallen trunk and another with two dogs further away. Mountains as well as a lake and trees form the background. Frame: Wide, wood frame with gold leaf and gesso ornaments on all four corners. Appears to be a double frame, rabbet has leaf-like trim around entire edge of frame.
