Print. Portait of young Rufus King, wearing white cravat and dark jacket, 3/4 position from waist up, seated, holds folded papers in his right hand clasped to his chest. Inscription below image: "Rufus King" At the bottom of the paper marked in pencil , "1800". Frame. Wood frame with glass. Burl grain veneer. Brass plate on bottom. Inscription on plate "Rufus King 1800" Frame located in box 75. From Sandy Thayer's notes: print after painting by Trumbull.
