Description

Dusty rose/peach, silk imitation paisley shawl. Loom width, twill ground with border at bottom filled with three rows of individual 'buta'/paisleys all facing in one direction. On the back of the border the filling/weft goes from selvage to selvage. NOTE** As of August 2020 the shawl is back at King Manor Museum after being conserved by the Textile Conservation Workshop in South Salem, NY. Conservator: Bethany Viviano
