Green porcelain amphora-style artware with gold handles painted with a scene of a colonial man and woman in garden. The back is blank. The vase was made in England.

Context

The vase belonged to Mrs. Jessie Jordan's mother. According to Mrs. Jordan, she remembered seeing it in her house growing up in Texas and her mother considered it very rare. It was a wedding gift to Jessie's parents, the Wrights, when they married.
