Description

Square silver lace filigree tray. Pattern is floral with seven large blossoms in the center. To make a filigree lace tray, a silversmith must first crimp thin strips of fine silver into small zig-zag patterns that are then soldered together with metal loops. Thicker silver strips are then added to arrange into the desired artistic style.
