Description

Set of two carved ivory bookmarks with a burro and cart. While they look similar, they have slightly different carvings on each one. They were made in India and are extremely thin.

Context

The bookmarks were gifted to the Jordans by an Indian member of the Kuwait Oil Company after they returned to Kuwait from a trip home.
