Description

Two sets of carved ivory skewers with fan shaped stand. Each stand depicts the Taj Mahal on one side and a flower on the other. Some skewers have an elephant on the top and the others have an elk. They were made in India.

Context

The set of skewers were gifted to the Jordans by member of the Kuwait Oil Company upon their return home from India.
