The blue Masonic Presentation Bible and Royal Crown Derby porcelain were gifted to Mrs. Jordan at the Second Annual Ladies’ Festival of the Rowland Chadwick Masonic Lodge No. 7472 E.C. on April 1, 1959, when she was Guest of Honor. The event was held in the Assembly Hall of the Houbara Club, a social/sports club owned by the Kuwait Oil Company. The blue Freemason Presentation Bible is traditionally given to members of the Temple after their completion of the Master Mason degree; however, this one was presented to Mrs. Jordan, showing her importance in the community.Ethnography
