The settling was made by Royal Crown Derby, who has been producing tableware and ornamental items since the 1750s and is known for their high-quality bone China made in England. The place setting contains red/gold heraldic motifs and a small seal with a Kuwaiti falcon and Arabic script reading “J.A.J.AL-SABAH.”Context
The bone China place setting belonged to the Jordan family and was likely given to them by Sheikh Jabel Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait.
