Carved ivory statuette of Dancing Shiva Nataraja on a wooden base. Shiva Nataraja, also known as Adalvallan and "Lord of the Dance," is an East Indian Hindu deity. He is often depicted as a divine cosmic dancer and his dance is called the Ananda Tandava, which is a dance of bliss and triumph. The statuette was made in India.

The statuette was gifted to the Jordans by member of the Kuwait Oil Company upon their return from India.
