Gold and Pearl Bracelet in Green Case: Image of the bracelet made of gold wire strung with Kuwaiti recede pearls. The bracelet is said to be very old and is held in a green Omega watch case made in Switzerland. There is a note associated with the bracelet, "THE LAST GIFT THAT THE GREAT SHAIKH MUBARAK ALSABAH RULER OF KUWAIT presented to his wife UMM ABDULLAH before his death in 1915. She in turn gave it to me, Jessie Jordan in 1957."

The bracelet is made of gold wire strung with Kuwaiti recede pearls. The bracelet is said to be very old and is held in a green Omega watch case made in Switzerland.

Context

The bracelet was given to Mrs. Jessie Jordan by Umm Abdullah Mubarak, wife of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah. The sheikh had presented it to his wife before his death in 1915, she later gave it to Mrs. Jordan to care for when she went to Mecca in 1957. She later passed away and her son insisted that Mrs. Jordan keep the bracelet. His Highness Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah was the seventh ruler of the Sheikhdom of Kuwait from 1896-1915. He is known for his significant role in shaping the modern nation.
