The rectangular cigarette box and matching pair of ashtrays were gifted to Mrs. Jessie Jordan when she was a Guest of Honor at Kuwait Masonic Lodge No. 6810’s Ladies’ Night. Mrs. Jordan was honored at many Ladies’ Nights during her time in Kuwait and was often the “Guest of Honor” at such events. Ladies Nights in the Masonic Lodge are designed to honor the women in a Freemason’s life, whether that be a wife, daughter, sister, mother, or other supporting woman.Ethnography
