Silver inkstand, circa mid-18th century; tag in ink bottle reads "Made in London by William Plummer, George III 1765."

Context

Given to Mrs. Jordan by the advisory team of the Kuwait Oil Company as a farewell gift when they retired in 1961; said to have been used by King George III in 1776.
