Jerry Fox, 1976. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man (Jerry Fox) dressed as the character Buster Brown, the mascot for the Buster Brown shoe company. This outfit consists of a flat, round hat; a curly wig; a belted jacket and a bowtie. He is also holding two balloons on strings. Mounted on the wall behind Mr. Fox is a large Buster-Brown logo. Image 9 shows Mr. Fox smiling and looking off toward his right. Images 10 and 11 are nearly identical to image 9. Image 12 shows Mr. Fox looking off toward his left He is not smiling. Image 13 shows Mr. Fox gesturing toward his right with his right hand and the balloons. His mouth is opened very wide.
Printed along the left-hand edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
