Description

South Sound Christmas Tree Donation, 1975. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two men loading potted Christmas trees into the back of a pickup truck. Image 2 shows a bearded man wearing a hard hat with "LPR" printed across the front loading a Christmas tree into the back of a pickup truck. The "LPR" likely stands for "Lacey Parks and Recreation." Image 3 shows the bearded man from the previous image squatting down to pick up a potted Christmas tree. Image 4 shows the bearded man from the previous two images and a man in a cap loading Christmas trees into the back of the pickup truck. The man in the cap is standing in the bed of the truck. Image 5 shows the bearded man stooped over slightly and picking up one of the potted Christmas trees. The right-hand side of this image is cut off. Printed in alternation along one long edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
