Description

First Bank Machine, 1975. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show an older woman in a long jacket preparing to insert a bank card into an automated teller machine (ATM). A man, much taller than the woman, is standing to the right of the woman. This man is wearing a trench coat. Image 2 shows both the woman and the man looking toward the ATM. Image 3 is nearly identical to image 2. Image 4 shows the woman looking toward the camera and the man looking off toward the left-hand edge of the image. Image 5 is nearly identical to image 2 and 3. Printed in alternation along the bottom edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
