Black and white photo of people on the beach at Millersylvania State park. There are several picnic tables with people sitting and talking or looking at the lake. Closest to the camera is a couple in street clothes, but most have on swimming gear. Beyond the picnic area is an enclosed swimming area in the lake with swimmers visible. The object that encloses the swimming area is sufficient for people to stand or sit, and many are visible. Beyond that is more of the lake water with a boat visible. There are trees around the picnic area and around the shores of the lake. In the picnic area there are areas of sun and shadow in contrast. There is a white border on all sides.
