Description

Black and white photo of three individuals on the shore of Potlatch State Park. They are wading in the edge of the water. On the left is a woman in a bathing suit bending over and holding a small float-board in one hand and the hand of a small child in the other. On the right is a man wearing a short-sleeve shirt and trousers that are rolled up to the knee. He has a clam shovel in one hand and a bucket in the other. Hew has his back to the camera. The shore is on the right and is sandy and rocky. There are small waves on the water and hills are visible on the far shore. The far shore at the right has a hill and some buildings. There are clouds in the sky. There is a white border on all sides and in the bottom border is written in blue ink "95-15" and "R40". At the upper left corner a tab has been pasted on and written on the tab in red ink is "W22/Red 60%". On the back in red ink is "100%" and in black ink "110%" The latter has a green circle around it and the words "OK 110%". There is a "B" in black ink and circled. In blue ink is "22 24" . In black ink is "Potlatch" and in blue ink "State Park". In blue ink is 17485-55". A stamp in blue ink says "Public Information Office Wash. State Parks & Recreation P. O. Box 1128 Olympia, Washington 98501" A stamp in black ink says"Fred Milkie Photographer 127 Boylston East Seattle, 2, Washington". This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
