Fish-In, 1975. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show people attending an outdoor event which includes fishing from large metal tubs and a car wash. Image 37 shows a man with a mustache and octagonal glasses posing for a photo. Image 38 is nearly identical to image 37. Image 39 shows a man in a striped jacket holding a small child wearing a jacket with a patch on each side of the breast and a small cownboy-style hat. An older child wearing a similar hat is standing on the far side of the man and child. Image 40 shows a child at left in a stocking cap dipping the end of his fishing line in a large metal tub of water. At center is a man who appears to be baiting the hook of a child standing at the right-hand side of the image. Image 41 is similar to the previous image, but here the man who was baiting the hook in the previous image appears to be dipping something in a large metal tub at the left-hand side of the image. Image 42 shows a girl holding a fishing pole with a small fish on the hook. Image 43 is similar to the previous image, but here the girl is grasping the fish with her right hand. Image 44 is similar to the previous two images, but here the girl is holding the fish with both hands. Image 1 shows a group of approximately 20 people standing in a loose group around several large, metal tubs. The front of a store is at the left-hand side of the image. Image 2 shows a little boy holding a fishhing rod. A man in glasses appears to be removing a small fish from the little boy's hook. Image 3 shows three young women washing a car. The young woman furthest to the left is facing away from the camera. Image 4 shows two young women washing a car. The young woman at center is laughing or smiling. Image 5 shows four young women washing a car. The young woman nearest to the camera is turning her head toward the camera and is smiling. Her right hand is on top of the car.
Printed in alternation along one long edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
