Neil Woody, 1979. These four black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show seven women posing for photos along one side of a round table. There are bookshelves along the lower parts of the walls which appear to hold professional reference materials, such as bound legal documents. A mural is partially visible on the wall at left, and the mural appears to depict the Old Capitol Building located at 600 Washington Street Southeast in Olympia, Washington.
Image 28 shows the seven women posing. Five women are in the front row, and the remaining two women are standing behind and between the two women at each end. Images 29 through 31 are nearly identical to image 28. Image 32 shows five of the women standing in a row, and the two remaining women seated at the table. Images 33 through 37 are nearly identical to image 32. Image 38 shows four of the women standing in a row and three of the women seated at the table. Images 39 through 44 and 1 through 2 are nearly identical to image 38.
It is unclear what relation this image has to Neil Woody, an Olympia-based accountant, but these women may be members of his staff.
Printed at intervals along the top edge of all of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."Made/Created
