Sambo's, 1979. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show exterior shots of Sambo's Restaurant, and a home for sale.
Image 19 shows a home with a realty sign in the yard alongside the road. Image 20 shows an exterior shot of Sambo's Restaurant. Three small trees supported by tall stakes are visible in a grassy area between the restaurant and the adjacent street. Image 21 is nearly identical to image 20. Image 22 is very similar to the previous two images, but here the photographer has moved to their right approximately 15 feet. A paved walkway is visible extending out from the sidewalk and up toward the restaurant. Image 23 is nearly identical to image 22. Image 24 shows an exterior shot of Sambo's Restaurant from a different angle than the previous four images. A tall sign which reads "Sambo's," "RESTAURANT" and "OPEN 24 HRS" is visible next to the building. Image 25 is nearly identical to image 24. Image 26 is similar to the previous two images, but here the photographer has moved to their right approximately 15 feet. A sign reading "Firestone" is visible near the right-hand edge of the image.
