Vista Village, 1979. These five black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show exterior shots of several houses and/or condominiums, and two men working in a large garden plot. Image 3 shows a graveled path leading through a lawn to the front of a house or condominium. Image 4 shows a rambler-style home with a two-pronged brick support column at the near corner. There is a potted plant between the two prongs. Image 6 shows a house with a very full, contoured garden area along the front. This garden area contains flowers, bushes and small trees. Image 7 shows a garden area in the foreground and a house in the background. There is a small evergreen tree with drooping branches nearer to the front of the home. The front, right end of a car is visible in the house's driveway. Image 8 shows the same home as seen in the previous image, but the photographer has moved to their right and closer to the garden area in the foreground. Image 9 shows a house in the background and a garden area in the foreground. A small, conical evergreen tree, tulips and other plants are in the garden area. Image 10 shows a garden area with a fairly large pine tree and smaller bushes and ground cover plants. A house is visible in the background. The right-hand portion of this image is cut off. Image 22 shows a garden area with a home in the background. A triangle of pavement is visible in the bottom-right corner of the image. Image 23 shows a small tree which may be an oak growing from a small, circular area of soil in a lawn. A house is visible in the upper-right corner of the image. Image 24 shows a man in a fedora working with a shovel in a large garden plot. Image 25 shows the same man working in the garden plot, but in this image a tall bush is occupying the left-hand third of the image. Image 26 shows the man in the fedora from behind working in the garden plot. He is bending over, and three stakes are visile along the bottom edge of the image. Image 27 shows the man in the fedora working with the shovel in the garden plot. In the background is a seond man working with a metal rake. This second man is wearing a plaid shirt. Image 28 is very similar to image 27, but here the photographer has moved to their left slightly, increasing the apparent distance between the two men. Image 29 shows a wider shot of the garden plot. The man with the fedora is visible in the far background working with the shovel.
