Description

Firemen, Unknown Date. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show four men, all with mustaches, posing for photos next to a fire engine. Two of the men are standing on the ground at left, one man is standing on the ground at right, and one man is standing up on the fire engine at right. The man at left nearer to the camera is wearing glasses. Ken Balsley believed that the man on the far right is Bill Pierpoint. Image 3 shows the man in glasses looking at the other man on the left. The man standing on the fire engine is looking down. Image 4 shows The man in glasses and the man standing on the fire engine looking toward the camera. The other two men are looking at eachother. Image 5 shows all four men looking at the camera. The man standing on the fire engine has his shoulders raised. Image 6 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man without glasses at left is looking downward. Printed along the top edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
