Play, Unknown Dates. These four black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images appear to show one or perhaps two different plays being acted out. Image 34 shows a woman in a long dress with full-length sleeves seated on the arm of a couch holding a set of keys. She is in a stage set designed to look like a living room. Image 35 shows the woman carrying a round object in her hands. A man wearing a plaid shirt is standing in the image, and the woman is looking at him. Image 36 shows the woman opening the round object in her hands, which appears to be a small sauce pan. There is a rectangular object inside the pan. The man is also looking into the sauce pan. Image 37 appears to show someone sleeping on a couch. The man in the plaid shirt is standing over the person on the couch and reaching down toward them. Image 38 is similar to the previous image, but here a woman in a v-neck sweater is speaking to the man. Image 39 shows the woman in the dress and the woman in the v-neck sweater both sitting on a couch. The woman in the sweater is speaking and the woman in the dress is turning away from her. Image 40 shows the woman in the dress standing in front of the woman in the sweater, who is seated. The man is standing in the background near the right-hand edge of the image frame. Image 41 shows the woman in the dress looking surprised and looking toward a man in glasses and a blazer who is partially visible at the right-hand edge of the image. The man who was previously wearing the plaid shirt is reaching out toward the woman in the dress. Image 42 shows the man with glasses and the blazer holding a large flashlight out in front of him defensively. Image 43 shows the woman in the dress looking away from the camera. The man previously in the plaid shirt and the man in glasses are both visible in the background. Image 44 is similar to the previous image, but here the woman has moved to her left and the man with glasses is again holidng the flashlight out toward the woman. Image 45 shows the woman in the dress and the man previously in the plaid shirt looking at eachother and talking. The man in glasses is visible in the background holding up the flashlight defensively. Image 11 shows a man and a woman, both wearing hats, looking at eachother and holding hands. Image 12 is similar to the previous image, but here the man is no longer wearing a hat. Image 13 is very similar to the previous image, but here the woman is reaching out and touching the man's arm. Image 14 shows the man gesturing with his left arm out toward his left. Image 15 shows the man gesturing toward himself with his left hand.
