Birthday Party at McDonald's, Unknown Date. These four black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a woman and several children celebrating a birthday party in a wood-paneled room at a McDonald's restaurant. Image 10 shows a little boy wearing a paper hat posing for a photo. Hanging on the wall behind the little boy is a poster with a hamburger with a face on it. The bottom the poster reads "Mc Hat." Image 11 shows a woman tying a bandana around the head of the little boy with the paper hat to blindfold him. Image 12 is similar to the previous image, but here the boy is facing away from the camera, and the bandana appears to be down around his neck. Image 13 shows the woman tying the bandana around a different small child's eyes. Two little girls, both wearing paper hats are watching the woman tie the bandana. Image 14 shows an older child wearing a paper hat holding a balloon toward a smaller seated child's face. Image 15 shows the older child throwing the balloon to the woman. Image 16 shows the woman holding the balloon out in front of her. Image 17 shows the woman picking up a drink cup with a straw. Image 18 shows the woman bringing a tray of food to a little boy in a paper hat. Image 19 shows the woman serving the food from the tray. Image 20 shows the woman lighting candles on a birthday cake. The little boy seen in images 10 and 11 is standing on his chair. Image 21 is very similar to the previous image, but here the little boy is bending toward the cake slightly. Image 22 is very similar to image 20, but here the woman's face is turned more toward the camera. Image 23 shows the children gathering around the birthday cake. The woman is picking up one of the little boys. Image 24 is very similar to the previous image, but here the woman has put the child she was picking up onto one of the chairs. Image 25 is nearly identical to image 24. Image 26 shows a little boy bending over to blow out the candles on the birthday cake.
