Description

Black and white photo of a drawing of a child. In the foreground is a cobbled street and behind that is a curb and sidewalk. Behind that is a board fence with a board missing and another broken. At the right is a bare tree with some branches leaning over the fence. In the gray sky is a moon. Sitting on the sidewalk is a cartoonish child whose eyes are closed. He has on a top hat and is wearing dark trousers and a dark vest over a white shirt. He has light-colored hair, and is holding a fish skeleton. Beside him is a cat and on the street in front of the two is a can at the edge of a drainage grill and a newspaper. There is a white border on all sides, and in the top border in green ink is "3 columns". This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
