Lacey Plywood Company, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man working the production line in a plywood mill. The appears to be inspecting plywood or veneer pieces. The man is wearing a cap, glasses, a plaid shirt and overalls. He is also wearing gloves, and has a marker of some kind in his right hand. Image 30 shows the man gripping a piece of plywood or veneer in his left hand. He is looking at the camera and smiling. Image 31 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man appears to be marking the plywood or veneer. This image is also blurred. Image 32 shows the man standing and looking toward the camera. The piece of plywood or veneer has proceeded toward the left down the production line. Image 33 shows the man holding a piece of plywood or veneer in front of him with both hands. Image 34 shows the man with his right arm extended out toward his right. Image 35 shows the man facing toward the camera and holding his marker approximately 6-8 inches above the piece of plywood or veneer in front of him. Image 36 shows the man marking the piece of plywood or veneer in front of him.
Printed in alternation along one long edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
