Jan Bree Dairy Princess at Boone Ford, 1973. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man with a mustache wearing a vest with many badges and patches on it posing for photos and speaking into a microphone. These images also show a young woman receiving an award and eight photos mounted together in a single frame. Image 4 shows the man with the mustache wearing the vest with many patches and badges. He is facing toward the left-hand edge of the image frame. Image 5 is similar to the previous image, but here the man is facing toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 6 shows the man speaking into a microphone. He appears to be inside a vehicle similar to a motor home. Image 14 shows two men in suits presenting eight photos and an award document all mounted in the same frame to a young woman in a dress. The men are also presenting a trophy to the woman. Near the top of the image is visible a coat-of-arms-style sign which reads "FORD" at the top. The woman's feet are just beyond the bottom edge of the image frame. Image 15 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has panned upward slightly. The woman is here visible from approximately the knees up. Image 16 shows the woman at right posing with the trophy and the two men at left posing with the framed photos and award. The grill of a Ford automobile is visible to the right of the woman's midsection. Image 17 is similar to the previous image, but here a section of sky is visible in the top-left corner of the image.
