Knitting Ladies, Unknown Date. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show three older women and an older man playing cards, and three older women examining a cardigan. Image 19 shows the three women and a man playing cards on a folding card table. A framed landscape painting or photograph is partially visible hanging on the wall behind the card players. Image 20 shows the three women examining the cardigan. The cardigan is being held up by two of the women. The women are shown from the mid-torso up, and the image is oriented horizontally. Image 21 is similar to the previous image, but here the image is oriented vertically and the women are visible from the knees up. The woman on the far left can be seen shown the lower hem of the cardigan. The woman at center's face is turned toward the camera, but she is not looking at the camera. Image 22 is very similar to image 20, but here the women are shown from the hip up. Images 23 and 24 are nearly identical to image 20.Made/Created
