Bernie Main, 1979. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a woman (Bernie Main) in round-rimmed glasses and a blazer working in an office. An unknown woman is shown in one of the images. These images were presumably taken at the Lacey City Hall. Image 1 shows a portion of a wall and the upper-right corner of a painting. Image 2 shows Ms. Main seated at a desk and looking toward the camera. She is reaching out with her right hand and touching a jar on her desk. Image 3 is very similar to the previous image, but here Ms. Main appears to be folding a piece of paper. Image 4 shows Ms. Main looking down at the jar and removing something from the jar. Image 5 shows an unknown woman in a dress standing next to a counter and leaning onto it with her right elbow. Image 6 shows Ms. Main seated at her desk and touching a piece of paper with both hands. She is looking back over her right shoulder. Image 7 shows Ms. Main looking toward the camera and smiling. She is also touching the jar with her left hand. Image 8 shows Ms. Main standing and speaking on the telephone. She is holding a small piece of paper in her right hand. Her head is turned toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 9 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 10 is very similar to the previous image, but here Ms. Main is facing toward the right-hand side of the image frame.
Printed at intervals along one long edge of these two strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."Made/Created
