Description

Four color photographs of the former Giant Powder/Atlas Powder Company's powder dock in a deteriorated state, c. 1998. .1 is a view of the full dock from a high vantage point. Foliage obscures part of the view on either side. The end of the dock is deteriorated with many wooden slats missing. .2 and .3 are side views of the dock taken from the beach. .2 shows slightly more of the dock. .4 shows a beached and shipwrecked boat, rusted and covered in moss. The vantage is through old posts, which may be part of the dock. Source is unknown. Item was found in a City of Lacey envelope marked "Powder Company Pier (CA. 1998) (Hawks Prairie/ Vicwood / Jubilee Beach).
