North Thurston District Faculty Wive's Tea, 1973. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show, from left to right, a standing woman (Beth Taylor) with glasses wearing a dress or long shirt with a psychedelic floral design on it, a seated woman (Coeta Gott) in horn-rimmed glasses, and a standing woman (Tarrie Herness) wearing a turtleneck sweater with a frill at the top of the neck. These women appear to be in a dining room of a home. Mrs. Taylor, at left, is pouring tea for Mrs. Gott, at center, in all of the images. Image 6 shows all three of the woman looking down toward the seated woman's teacup. The tabletop is just below the bottom edge of this image. The woman at left's face is shown in profile, the other two women are facing generally toward the camera. This image is oriented horizontally. Image 7 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved to their right slightly and back from the three women. Here the tabletop is visible. Image 8 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved several feet toward their right. Here the woman at right's face is shown in profile and the other two women are facing generally toward the camera. Images 9 and 10 are nearly identical to image 6. Image 11 is very similar to the previous image, but here the image is oriented vertically. Image 12 is nearly identical to image 11. Image 13 is very similar to image 8, but here the photographer has zoomed in on the women.
