Description

Black and white negsative of the Salem, Oregon Post Office. The building is rectangular with two stories and a flat roof. The sides are covered with vines, probably Ivy. There is an entrance on the side and on the end. Some of the windows have awnings. There is a curved sidewalk starting at the bottom of the print and dividing toward the two entrances. There is grass in the foreground and a small tree. In the background are more trees and an object visible over the roof of the Post Office. There is a white border on all sides. This negative is inserted , along with the print of the image, in an envelope that has written on it "Salem, Oregon--Post Office Building June 1926". A stamp says "16" and "indexed".
