Description

Black and white negative of the Salem, Oregon Courthouse. The building is four stories of white building material with a dome and cupola on top. There is a ledge between each of the floors. There is an entrance on the side facing the camera and tall windows on each floor. In the foreground is a street with painted lines. Beyond that is a railing and a sidewalk Vehicles are parked at the left of the print and a person is beside one of them. There are trees at the side of the building. A wire stretches across the print near the top. There is a white border on all sides. This negative is inserted , along with a print of the image, in an envelope that has written on it "Salem, Oregon--Court House June 1926". A stamp says "17" and "indexed".
