Description

Black and white negative of bathers at Hicks lake. In the foreground is the shore with a wooden fence. Beyond that are three bathers with their backs to the camera in shallow water. In the center of the print is a float with a tower. Several people in bathing gear are standing on the float. There is a ladder on the tower leading up to a platform. On the platform is a diving board and above the platform is a mast with a pennant at the top. An individual is in mid air, having dived from the board. Trees are visible in the background. This negative is inserted into a clear plastic sleeve along with a print of the image and a brown envelope that has typed "Olympia--Bathers at Hick's Lake 1926" Stamped is "30" and "indexed".
