Description

Black and white photo of the Exeter Hotel. A street is in the foreground, apparently paved with bricks. Beyond that is a house on the left that has two and a half stories and multiple stairways. At the right are other structures of unknown nature. Behind all that is the hotel. It is made of white masonry and is L-shaped with one leg angled to the left of the camera and the other extending to the right. The building has ten stories visible with more behind the houses in the foreground. There are multiple windows on each floor. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#77" and "1928". On the back is "1982". The photo is inserted into a brown envelope along with a negative of the image. Typed on the envelope is "Seattle Summer, 1928 Hotel Exeter from University Street". Stamped is "77" and "indexed".
