Black and white negative of the Exeter Hotel. A street intersection is in the foreground with two vehicles parked at the curb. Behind the vehicles is a two-story building with arched windows on the top floor along with a curved bay window. Two people are walking on the sidewalk. Electrical wires are overhead. Behind all that is the hotel. It is made of white masonry and is L-shaped with one leg angled to the left of the camera and the other extending to the right. The building has ten stories visible with more behind the house in the foreground. There are multiple windows on each floor. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#78" and "1928". The negative is inserted into a brown envelope along with a print of the image. Typed on the envelope is "Seattle Summer, 1928 Hotel Exeter from corner 7th and University". Stamped is "78" and "indexed".
