Description

Black and white negative of a street corner in New Orleans. In the foreground is a paved street with a manhole cover visible. Behind that is a three-story building with a covered awning on the ground floor and on the second and third floors are balconies, windows, and doors. On the ground floor are people and objects as well as a sign that says "Union". On the second floor is a sign that is partially unreadable, but includes the words "grocery" and "drink Coca Cola". There is a utility wire stretched overhead. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#220" and "10/15/19". The negative is inserted along with a print of the image into a brown envelope. On the envelope is typed "New Orleans--Street Corner 10/15/29". Stamped is "220" and "indexed".
