Description

Black and white negative of a street in New Orleans. In the foreground is a paved street angling off to the left. At the left of the image are signs apparently hung on buildings. One of them is a Coca-Cola sign. On the right of the street and of the image is a row of buildings with vehicles parked in front of them. The buildings are two and three story, and most have balconies and awnings along with doors and windows. Some fabric is hanging on some of the balconies, such as washed clothes. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#221" and "10/15/29". The negative is inserted along with a print of the image into a brown envelope. On the envelope is typed "New Orleans--View on Royal Street 10/15/29". Stamped is "221" and "indexed".
