Description

South Sound National Bank, Unknown Date. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two men (Kevin Ekar and Howard Michael Trudell) posing individually for photos. Image 6 shows Mr. Ekar with a beard and wearing a blazer and diagonally-striped tie. His head is turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image frame, and he appears to be laughing. Several long, thin leaves of a plant are visible in the bottom-left corner of the image. Two plaques are partially visible at the right-hand edge of the image. Mr. Ekar is shown from the waist up. His hands appear to be folded in front of him, but his lower arms are outside of the image frame. Image 7 is very similar to the previous image, but here Mr. Ekar is looking toward the camera and smiling. Image 8 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 9 is very similar to the previous two images, but here Mr. Ekar appears to be laughing and his hands are folded behind his back. Image 10 shows Howard Michael Trudell posing for a photo. He is wearing thick-rimmed glasses, a blazer and diagonally-striped tie. A plant with long, thin leaves is partially visible behind him. Images 11 through 13 are nearly identical to image 10. Printed at intervals along the right-hand edge of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063." Mr. Ekar and Mr. Trudell were both employees of South Sound National Bank.
