The prow is pointed and, since the boat is moored at a dock, buildings on the dock appear to be a part of the boat. The boat has several decks with windows and railings. The rounded bridge is visible on the top deck. Behind the boat are trees, and a hill or mound with a tower at the top. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#234" and "10/16/29".
This negative is inserted along with a print of the image into a brown envelope that has typed "New Orleans--River Steamer on the Mississippi 10/16/29". Stamped is "234" and "indexed".Made/Created
