Description

Clear glass Kerr one-quart wide mouth canning jar. The jar has a flat top with no threads or bail. The side mold seams extend from a horizontal seam that is on the side but very near the bottom up to but not over a wide rim just below the lip. Besides the horizontal seam near the bottom, there is a horizontal seam where the top meets the base (on the shoulder of the base). Embossed on the side: "Economy" "trade mark", on bottom: "Patented" "Kerr Glass Mfg Co" "Chicago Ill.".
