Description

Jo Gauthier, 1975. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a woman (Jo Gauthier) posing for photos. Her hair is parted at the center and combed back. Her hair is either short or tied at the back. She is wearing oval-rimmed glasses and what appears to be an apron over a plaid top or dress. Pinned to her apron is a Hickory Farms nametag which reads "JO GAUTHIER MGR." She is shown from the mid-torso up in all of the images. Image 12 shows Ms. Gauthier with her head and body turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image frame. She is looking toward the camera and not smiling. Image 13 is nearly identical to image 12. Image 14 shows Ms. Gauthier with her head and body turned toward the right-hand side of the image frame. She is looking toward the camera and smiling. Image 15 is very similar to image 14, but here Ms. Gauthier is not smiling and appears to be speaking.
