Description

Blue-green glass one-quart canning jar (a) with glass lid (b) and wire bail. The jar is cylindrical in shape with a glass bubble lid clamped to the jar with a wire bail. There is a mold seam on the side that extends from a horizontal seam at the bottom up to but not over the lip. There is also a horizontal seam about .5" below the lip. Embossed on the side: "Atlas" "E - Z seal ' ' - "; on the bottom: "atlas" "trade mark reg" "E - Z seal".

Height is 7.5" to the top of the wire when the wire is clamping the glass lid. Diameter is 4" at the bottom; 3.25" at the rim of the glass lid. The measurements would be slightly less if there was no lid attached. rfj
