Description

Nine photos of two men (Gino Fasano and Steve Fasano) rowing a boat in the parking lot in front of the Baskin-Robbins ice cream store at 804 Sleater Kinney Rd SE, in front of the current Fred Meyers store. The pictures were taken shortly a significant rainstorm that flooded the lot. In some of the pictures (Frames #28A-33A) one of the Fasanos attempts to feed or herd the ducks. In the background one can see Evergreen Savings looking north on the opposite side of Sleater Kinney Rd.(Frames #30A, 34A-36A) and a State Liquor Store and a railroad crossing to the north/northeast (Frames #31A-33A).

Context

early pictures of an ice cream store that was a Lacey fixture for roughly 30 years along with some of the businesses in the vicinity in 1979 and two Lacey area residents.
