Description

Clear glass 1 quart Atlas canning jar. The jar is square with rounded corners. The mouth of the jar is threaded for a screw lid. Mold seams are on the corners and extend from a horizontal seam at the base up to a horizontal seam at the rounded shoulder and below the top assembly. The top assembly, with the threads, has a seam offset from the side seam that extends slightly onto the side. This seam does not go over the top of the lip. Embossed on the side "Atlas" "mason" and a stylized letter "A". On the bottom are embossed "B" "8" and "L". There is also an indistinct embossing that may be the stylized "A".
